This octahedral green fluorite is perched on a druse of quartz, with window forms. It shows defined faces and edges. Color is intense with transparence. On a matrix of feldspar. This is from a small tungsten mine that was worked intermittently in the past including by the Russian government as a source for tungsten back in the 1980s. Few good minerals came out, and fewer still in this size and quality.Fluorescent under LW-UV.
Groups of fan-shaped epidote crystals, very bright and with transparency and disposed very aerial on the ophite matrix. Intense green color, brightness and transparence. It is currently prohibited to collect in this area. A sample with a good size (12 cm.) and excellent quality, from the classic town of Casterner.
These fluorite specimens are particularly interesting as they show dodecahedral crytals, which is an uncommon habit for fluorite, with minor octahedral and cube faces. To give a touch of aesthetics, crystals have a marked geometric color zoning, revealing a purple replica of the larger crystal inside. Good transparence and brilliances. They are disposed on a quartz matrix. Really aesthetic.
Very brilliant specimen of goethite, from this classic Moroccan mine. It presents an aesthetic botryoidal aggregate, with an intense metallic luster and a deep black color.
This octahedral green fluorite is perched on a druse of quartz, with window forms. It shows defined faces and slightly curved edges.
An aesthetic royal-blue cavansite group of sharp crystals, perched atop stilbite-covered basalt matrix on this fine and showy piece from the Wagholi Quarry of India.
An excellent specimen formed by numerous epidote crystals, from the classic locality of Casterner. Fan-shaped crystals, they are very bright and with an excellent transparence. Better in "person" than in the pictures. Samples of this quality are already few. It is currently forbiden to collect in the area.

Group of huge size orthoclase crystals, showing the complex faces. Nice slightly orange color and defined edges and faces. It was collected many years ago near of the Montseny massif; this area was well known for orthoclase mineral collectors. A classic from a classic Catalan collection.
These specimens of banded flint were collected decades ago in the area of El Brull, in the Montseny massif, and identified as agate. They appear in nodules and veins, embedded in a siliceous limestone, presenting bands of gray tones, between light to dark gray. These kind of striped flind are well know in jewelery, and very appreciated. It is a unique curiosity of the Catalan mineralogy of many years ago.
Rich group of pyrite crystals, isolated and disposed in the original marl matrix. Exceptional luster and some of them show flattened prismatic shapes. From a classic mine for the Spanish mineralogy. Good size specimen.
It is not very common to find specimens of lorenzenite, a rare sodium silicate titanate, of these Russian pegmatites. The piece shows some crystals with defined faces and edges, intense black and brilliance, some doubly ternminated. Very interesting specimen collected in this large agpaitic pegmatite body discovered in 1996 on the northern flank of the Umbozero mine on Alluaiv Mt. Intensely hydrothermally reworked, extremely Na-rich, CO2-rich and relatively Si-rich pegmatite. We will send analysis to the buyer.
One of a very few tourmalines I found in this old collection with this classic combination from the 1960s or 1970s: nice brilliant lustre, glassy surface, intense color zoning between pink to green. Parallel groth, terminal rhombohedrons and a crossing prismatic pink small crystal between them. This well-known pegmatite mine was discovered in 1991 and produced very colorful tourmalines. Nice gem.
Baryte specimens from this Maghrebian locality are very unusual. They appear labeled as Irhoud and there is a discussion about the locality. These are aggregates of tabular lanceolate baryte crystals those form beautiful rosettes, very aerial disposed, with inclusions those give them these reddish tones. On a matrix with quartz. A rarity.
Echemaïa (Arabic: الشماعية) is a city of Morocco, located in the region of Marrakech-Safi between the city of Safi and Marrakech. Formerly called "Al Kasba" it was renamed "Chemaïa" (literally: "La Chandelière") since the establishment of one of the largest candle factories in the region.
In this specimen we can enjoy several groups of wire silver, with showy wire to skeletal growths and metallic luster. Accompanied by black acanthite crystal aggregates. From a classic locality for the Catalan and Spanish mineralogy. A good chance to represent this locality in your collection. Nowadays it is very difficult find specimens, only from old collections...

A superb, well-balanced spray of amethyst crystals from the famous Guerrero locality. An aesthetic cluster of colored amethyst crystals, representing fine color from this deposit, in crystals which are still gemmy and translucent. Not easy to find nowadays. Ex. J.M. Manchion collection.
An aesthetic specimen consisting of bladed, cream colored baryte crystals in parallel growth forming semi-rosettes book shaped, with a tiny bit of associated purple fluorite. With two minor From the collection of the long time, Josep Maria Manchion.
It is a very old specimen formed by prismatic to tabular crystals of celestine, with a radial disposition and filling a cavity in calcite. The matrix is a fossil coral. Fluorescent under LW-UV light. Good size. A classic of the Catalan mineralogy of old times...
An aesthetic fluorite specimen showing a violet tone turned to pink, crystals very clear, transparent and arranged on tiny quartz crystals. But what makes this piece special is the triple interpenetrating spinel twin that shows the largest group of crystals. Others crystals show double interpenetration of two individuals. Very fluorescent under LW-UV. A more than remarkable piece.
Incredible specimen formed by a native copper matrix, covered by calcite white rhombohedrons, very well defined and translucent. They are accompanied by numerous crystals of up to 2 mm of cuprite: exceptional under the magnifying glass. Most show the forms of the dodecahedron, but also in octahedra. A remarkable example of this classic mine.
Very esthetic specimen formed by numerous aggregates of crystals of calcite manganoan, very bright, transparent to translucent, forming globular groups very well set on the matrix. They present a slightly pinkish tone due to the presence of Mn. Extremely fluorescent under LW-UV, with a spectacular pink to red color. They are accompanied by small octahedral cubic crystals of colorless and transparent fluorite. In a matrix of bright crystals of pyrite, sphalerite and galena. An exceptional piece.
A definitive specimen of Mibladen cerussite. Transparent to translucent crystals, with an exceptional brightness, unusual, with numerous and aesthetic perfect cyclic twins. Closely observed, it becomes a crystallographic pleasure. One of the best cerussite specimens of Mibladen I've seen... With label from former Manchion collection.
