This old specimen, of which supplier didn't had no more info about its original owner, was accompanied by a label where we can read: "Goethite pseud. Magnesite". Consulting the works "Minerales de España" by Salvador Calderón (1910) and the modern version of Miguel Calvo (2009), they mention the presence of pseudomorphic substitutions of goethite (limonite) after siderite in this Aragonese locality: Ojos Negros mines. They preserve the rhombohedral form or, less commonly, as "(...) lenticular pseudocrystals or in the form of short prisms with a hexagonal section and rounded faces that can exceed one centimeter in length (...)" (Calvo, 2009).
Therefore we can deduce that what we are showing is one of these curious pseudomorphs of goethite after siderite or magnesite. A good sized specimen, full of crystallographic history, chemistry and a classic Spanish locality.
Amazing specimen of clinoatacmite that shows several groups of pseudohexagonal crystals of really good size. With an intense and deep green color, brilliant and with some transparence, some twinned. They are disposed as isolated groups that stand out on a matrix of hyaline quartz crystals, with blue-green tones due to the chrysocolla and malachite they're are covering. An great an exceptional piece.
Aesthetic specimen that shows several clinoatacamite crystals, with a pseudorhombohedral shape, with an intense green color, brilliance and transparence, some twinned. They are disposed as isolated individuals those stand on a matrix of brilliant quartz crystals, with blue tones due to the chrysocolla and green due to the malachite. A remarkable piece from this Peruvian mine (enjoy pictures).
Group of sharp andradite-grossular crystals, with an exceptional brilliance and a brown color, near to black. They show clear faces of the dodecahedron and the trapezohedron. Disposed on the matrix, contrasting with the white albite and small octahedral crystals of magnetite. A sample of the former Daunis collection; from a Spanish locality not well represented in collections.
Rich specimen formed by several isolated crystals of talmessite, translucent to transparent, defined, from pink to orange. They are disposed on a matrix with bright calcite crystals and green crystalline aggregates of conichalcite. The sample has been analyzed by SEM-EDS and Raman. The results indicate a very low Co content and the Raman indicates that it is talmessite. We will send the buyer all the details.
Aesthetic specimen of wendwilsonite formed by numerous sized and isolated crystals, transparent, very well defined, some of them doubly terminated. With an intense and uniform pink color. We also observed some aggregates with a yellowish green tone; the SEM-EDS analysis indicates that it is a rich Cu cobaltaustinite that curiously presents a remarkable content in Zn and Ni, something unusual. They are disposed on a matrix with brilliant crystals of calcite and dolomite. The sample has been analyzed completely, so we will send the buyer all the results.

In the back side, we have a druse very rich in crystals. They are disposed on a matrix with brilliant calcite crystals and dolomite. Some talmessite crystals with an orange tone are asociated. Exceptional native copper specimen from this classic Moroccan locality. This piece stands out for the feather formed by elongated crystals. It is accompanied by numerous crystals with deformed and complex cubic habit. A very aerial and aesthetic specimen.
These aragonite pineapples are very rare. This specimen shows a large group of pseudohexagonal crystals, with a tone between gray, violet to brownish, translucent. Dedicated to the aragonite collectors. It comes from the Daunis collection and was collected by him personally in this classic locality.
This Spanish aragonite specimen shows several twinned and interpenetrated crystals, one of them with a big size. They have a really good brilliance and tones those varies from whitish to violet, translucent. Twinned cyclically on {110} and showing a hexagonal prismatic habit. Dedicated to the aragonite collectors. It comes from the Daunis collection and was collected by him personally in this classic locality.

Nakauriite is a rare hydrated magnesium and copper carbonate, but old formula was Cu8(SO4)4(CO3)(OH)6·48H2O. The sulphate content, originally reported, seems to be questionable according to literature; the crystalline structure is unknown. Palenzona and Martinelli (2007) suggest a formula (Mg,Cu)x(CO3)y(OH)z·nH2O (x, y, z unknown). It appears as fibrous and nodular aggregates of bluish color embedded in the matrix of tremolite/talc. This specimen has an unusual size and is very rich. It comes from the abandoned chromite mines in Ufalei chromite deposits.

Very rich specimen of rhodo, formed by several gemmy, rose-red elongated rhombohedrons covering the matrix on this fine, fine quality sample from the famous 1970s and 1980s finds at Santa Eulalia. Observed under magnification we can see that elongated faces are semidull and terminal rhombohedrons are brilliant and transparent. Color is really good. Not easy to find in the market specimens with this quality.
Aesthetic and brilliant botryoidal hematite from a Scotish locality not well represented in collections. On a reddish baryte matrix.
A vug that is lined with sharp, hexagonal, grayish-white nepheline crystals, accompanied by lustrous, black crystals of schorlomite as dodecahedral crystals. Schorlomite is a rare garnet group member and much of the material labeled "schorlomite" is, strictly speaking, titanian andradite. Excellent, highly representative combination material of the species. Not very often one can see well formed nepheline crystals of this species, especially crystals this size. Very aesthetic specimen from Jebel Bou-Agrao.
These specimens show a matrix formed by arsenates such as erythrite and associated sulphides and arsenates of cobalt and iron. We can observe on both the presence of arborescent, filiform and laminar gold aggregates. SEM analysis has shown that this is a variety of gold rich in silver (23-24%w): electrum.
Under loupe, we can enjoy that some of these gold aggregates are formed by small crystals of octahedral to cubic forms. We can theorize a secondary genesis for this gold-electrum. We have analyzed the matrix of these specimens observing that the bright metallic matrix corresponds to a mixture of cobalt arsenides, probably skutterudite, and other sulphides. We will send all analyzes to the buyer. The gold and electrum in Bou Azer was already described, but the quality of these specimens we offer surpasses what was known. A very rich gold-electrum specimen.
Probably the best specimen I can get from this pocket. Very rich group of interpenetrated fluorite crystals showing forms of the cube, with very sharp edges, transparent to translucent, with marked color zoning, intense violet color and brilliant faces. Contrasting with the white baryte matrix. A very, very aesthetic specimen.
Long time since I saw good quality fluorite specimens from this Moroccan mines (Tawrirt, ⵜⴰⵡⵔⵉⵔⵜ), located in the Oriental region of the country.
These specimens of fluorite show forms of the cube, with very sharp edges, transparent to translucent, with some color zoning, intense violet color, brilliant to semidull faces, very curious. Partially covered by goethite and very aerial disposed on baryte crystals. A nice specimen formed by several isoalted microcrystals of langite. Brilliant and of a magnificent blue color, deeper and more intense than usual. This mineral is formed in the galleries of this European classic mine. On the rocky matrix.

Very rich andradite (var. melanite) specimen, with an intense color, showing interpentrated crystals and isolated ones with a good size. From a classic Spanish locality.
Very rich specimen formed by several tetrahedrite crystals, sharp, brilliant, with golden facets due to chalcopyrite. They show forms of the tetrahedron and the cube, together with more complex ones. They are disposed very aesthetically on a matrix covered with quartz crystals and peppered by globular orange siderite. A very esthetic specimen, for lovers of crystallography and sulfides. Analysis show a silver content.
