A very brilliant crystallized primary malachite. The prismatic needle like crystals present diverging and fan-shaped groups and have an excellent luster. Good transparence. Color is very intense and characteristic with some zoning. A very representative specimen and from a classic Katanga mining area.
A nice cluster of topaz crystals with very well defined faces and edges, with a developed prism, cuted by the basal pinacoid and other order prism faces on top. The tile color presents zoning, more intense in pinacoidal faces. From transparent to translucent, with good brilliance. With an aesthetic opal-AN aggregate on one of the main crystals. Opal presents intense green fluorescence under SW-UV light. Rutile inclusions can be observed as thin needles in the topaz prisms and in the opal. One of the topaz crystals presents a minor damage. They are very aerial disposed on a rhyolite matrix. Nice miniature. It is very interesting the origin of the word tepetate (tepetatl).

A very brilliant specimen of wavellite from the classic and historic locality of Palazuelo de las Cuevas, famous for the variscite. In this specimen we can observe perfectly banded wavellite aggregates formed by radiated crystals. The color varies between greenish yellow to deep green. We can see the terminal faces of the wavellite crystals in these aggregates. This sample is from a recent find and it has a quality not seen for a long time. We will send the analysis to the buyer.
Groups of fan-shaped adamite crystals with good color, more intense at the terminal faces, from light yellow to yellowish green. Good brilliance and perfect disposition on the matrix.
In this specimen we can observe a group of quartz crystals, one of them dominant, with well defined faces and edges. We see a well-developed prism with rhombohedral terminal faces and a possible small trapezohedron face. Transparence and brilliance are both excellent and with a very uniform smoky tone. It is not easy to find specimens of alpine smoky quartz at reasonable prices, without nicks, and less with this size.
Specimen of native copper from this classic Namibian mine. It shows a very aesthetic growth between arborescent to skeletal, with elongated copper crystals. A pleasure under magnification. The copper color is natural, without chemical treatments. An old sample of a well-known and appreciated by collectors locality as it is Tsumeb.
Group of very sharp calcite crystals, two of them predominant, those show very developed prism faces mixed with the positive rhombohedron faces. Regarding the upper terminal faces we can observe the negative rhombohedron with striations. This type of crystallization is very unusual, I have not seen this combination, with this quality, never before. It presents some transparence and a more remarkable brilliance. It is accompanied by other calcite crystals of the same habitus, with a developed prism. A seldom seen piece for this mine. A sample for the best calcite collector display.
A perfectly balanced specimen. On the one hand we have a large scalenohedral crystal (5.2 x 2.3 cm.) showing perfectly defined the 180° twin between two scalenohedrons. This crystal is very defined and "doubly terminated" shows good transparency and brilliance. On the other hand we have a group of calcite crystals, also scalenohedral, interpenetrating each other, brilliant and translucent, with a slight yellowish tone. They are disposed on a matrix of tiny quartz crystals on which observe small aggregates of cubic violet fluorite, also interpenetrated. A specimen to be displayed.
Sulphur crystals from the marble quarries of Carrara are appreciated worldwide for its gem quality. In this specimen, we offer a sulphur crystal perfectly disposed on the marble matrix. This crystal is very rich in complex well-defined rhombic faces. It is uncommon because they appears usually rounded. The brilliance and transparence are incredible. The color is intensely yellow, very characteristic of these Carrara sulphurs. An exceptional and definitive displaying sample, very rare on market, considering that in last years it has been found only few specimens of this size and quality. A great opportunity.
A great and aesthetic wulfenite specimen from well-known Ojuel mine. Two groups of wulfenite crystals with parallel growth, one of them with prismatic form and intense orange color and brilliance. Attracts our attention for its complex terminal acute faces and it is aesthetically disposed and contrasts with the limonite matrix. They are accompanied by a group of green globular aggregates of mimetite. Both minerals are fluorescent. To be displayed.
A very curious specimen of calcite with deformed and curved escalenohedron and rhombohedron faces. With some brilliance, yellowish color and translucent. Very aerial disposed on a matrix of dolomite peppered with pyrite.
Group of interpenetrated fluorite crystals showing well defined faces, with delicate polysynthetic growth, and visible beveled edges. Good transparence and violet color with geometrical zoning. It presents the peculiarity of having a face that does not correspond to the predominant cube shape. On a quartz layered rocky matrix. A sample with characteristics that make it very interesting for fluorite collectors and from a classic Spanish locality.
A huge size and old native copper specimen showing arborescent growths of deformated copper crystals. Also accompanied by malachite and some reddish cuprite. From a mine not well represented in collections.
A very rich pseudomalachite specimen, showing transparent lanceolated to elongated rhombohedra shape crystals. It is accompanied with a rare copper phosphate: reichenbachite. It shows globular aggregates formed by lamellar crystals with a lighter green color. They are disposed on a matrix of stalactitic goethite.
Globular aggregates of mimetite crystals, with an intense luster and yellowish honey color. It is a floater and it back side there are some spherical vugs those are difficult to interpretate. Take a look. An aesthetic miniature from this famous Mexican mine.
We have seen many gemmy fluorapatite crystals from Imilchil, with the classic prism and more or less developed dipyramid. In this specimen we have a fantastic complexity of facets for this Moroccan locality. There is an exquisite combination of dipyramids of first and second order, highly developed, and some prism faces. It reminds Alpine fluorapatite. With honey tones and on a matrix with small magnetite crystals. A very interesting rarity. Not more available...
A very rich tennantite specimen from the collector and dealer Luis "Louie" Antonio Bravi Teixeira Leite (1942-1999). It is formed by several interpenetrated tetrahedrons with good luster and defined faces and edges. Good sample to enjoy crystallography. A classic from a former collection.
A tennantite rich specimen from the classic Tsumeb. We can observe some tetrahedron tennantite crystals with curved faces and defined edges, with luster. Some of them show broken areas, but aesthetics is quite good. Old specimen.
Group of isolated and very sharp metatorbernite crystals, with an intense green grass color, showing the combination of the first and the second order dipyramids, truncated by pinacoidal faces. Its intense color gives a nice contrast with the white quartz matrix. We could say that this locality is included in the most worldwide important torbernite localities due to the crystal quality, size and multiple habits.
Groups of very brilliant sphalerite crystals showing complex habitus and twins. With an intense luster and deep brown color, near black, with honey reflections. They are peppered by several small but brilliant chalcopyrite crystals. On a siderite matrix, accompanied by dolomite, galena and defined brilliant chalcopyrite crystals. Nowadays, this mine, in the city of Bilbao, is collapsed and it is impossible to get these classic Spanish specimens.
From a recent finding in an outcrop close to the Proserpina reservoir, near of the interesting city of Mérida (Badajoz). This specimen shows small turquoise crystals forming botryoidal aggregates with a nice bluish and greenish tones, partially covered by a second generation of more yellowish crystals. We'll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer. A Spanish novelty.
A huge size and top quality "Jackstraw" cerussite specimen. The "jackstraw" habit consists of numerous randomly oriented elongated crystals. The best known locality for this "jackstraw" type are those specimens from the Flux mine, in Arizona.
It is formed by a rich group of elongated cerussite crystals with an intense white color, divergent growth and good brilliance. In a limonite matrix. Both sides are mineralized. A classic specimen from this American locality. It was adquired by Gerard Vogel (Netherlands) in 1961, in California.
Group of very sharp flattened parallel growth of quartz crystals. Very transparent, with an excellent brilliance, transparence and with a visible "faden" growth that crosses it tip to tip.
It comes from a very recent find in the alpine valley of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, in France, near Italy and they could be considered between the best faden quartz crystals in Europe.
