A rich group of lenticular gypsum crystals forming rosettes. Some of them are well developed but with another shape, lanceolated and showing swallowtail twin. These are very transparent, defined faces and edges and very aerial disposed on the matrix. Accompanied by some cubic halite transparent and colorless crystals.
Gypsum fluorescence under ultraviolet source is excellent, but the phosphorescence is the most intense and lengthy I've never seen before. An uncommon and aesthetic combination.
Long wire silver crystal aprtially covered by greyish acanthite. It is very aerial disposed on a matrix with quartz, silver and some samll acanthite crystals. It has grown on a quartz crystal as a base. Very aesthetic.
Druse of tetrahedrite crystals with defined faces and edges. Good brilliance, with a metallic-gray tone. They show complex interpenetrating faces. Accompanied by groups of hyaline quartz crystals forming rosettes. Very aesthetic. With sphalerite in the matrix. From a classic Peruvian mine.
A very rich group of tetrahedrite crystals with an intense metallic luster and deep black color, with well defined faces and edges. Faces show complex growth and some vertices are truncated by opposite tetrahedron faces. They are accompanied by groups of sphalerite crystals, complex forms, easily distinguished by its grayish dull sheen. Highlight the intense orange fluorescence of this sphalerite probably due to the presence of cadmium in its crystal lattice. From the Jaqui adit, a diferent locality not well represented in collections.
This specimen is very rich in lanceolate clinozoisite greenish crystals, bright and sharp. They are accompanied by groups of quartz with well-developed prism according to the main axis. A Peruvian locality not well represented in collections.
This specimen shows several mineral species. The matrix which "supports" all of them is a group of huge size galena crystals with sharp cube-octahedral faces. Partially covering them we can see large groups of flattened realgar crystals. As alteration of these realgar crystals, due to the light, we have a patina, between yellow to orange, pararealgar. Between these galena crystals some orpiment aggregates, with a very intense yellow color.
We would like to emphisize in this specimen the presence of numerous seligmanite (PbCuAsS3) prismatic crystals, with a luster that makes them stand out. Evidently magnification is necessary to enjoy all their forms. Accompanied by chalcopyrite, pyrite and quartz. As you can see, it is a complete and representative specimen from this Peruvian mine.
Group of lanceolated axinite-(Fe) crystals, with excellent color and brilliance, very sharp and transparent. They are partially covering a matrix of quartz crystals with dark green clinochlore aggregates, also with green epidote. The specimen is much better in hand than in the picture.
Group of lanceolated axinite-(Fe) crystals, with excellent color and brilliance, very sharp and transparent. They are partially covering a matrix and accompanied by aggregates of yellow to white prehnite. The specimen is much better in hand than in the picture. A new find in Perú.

A very interesting cluster of sharp epidote crystals showing a developed striated prism, some doubly terminated. Terminal faces are defined by various pinacoids. The brilliance is excellent and the deep green color, near black in thick crystals, could be perfectly observed when light crosses through them. From a Peruvian locality not well represented in collections.
