Aesthetic group of prismatic crystals of adamite, with good transparence and intense color. Crystals forming sheaves and isolated, defined. They are disposed on a matrix of goethite, with cavities partially covered by small globular aggregates of yellow tsumcorite-brackebuschite.
Rich group of very elongated mimetite crystals, some of them doubly terminated, brilliant, translucent and with a soft yellow tone. Mimetite specimens with this shape are unusual in Ojuela mine, usually globular. They are accompanied by aggregates of tiny yellow to orange crystals of tsumcorite-arsenbrackebuschite. They are disposed in a cavity of the goethite matrix. The specimen has been analyzed and the results will be sent to the buyer. It has been published in the mineral magazine "Paragénesis" (1-2017).
Exceptional specimen formed by several groups of prismatic crystals of adamite, which are disposed forming rosettes on a matrix of goethite. Crystals have a very uniform yellow color, with transparence, and very defined faces and edges. Pure aesthetic.
Superb adamite crystal, vey brilliant, yellow color, curved faces and showing terminal facets on both ends. It is disposed in a very esthetic form on a matrix of goethite. Good size and quality.
A very rich group of mimetite globular aggregates, with yellow tone and brilliant. Acompanied by hemimorphite lanceolated crystals of hemimorphite, transparence and brilliance.
A rich group of doubly terminated crystals of wulfenite showing prismatic growth truncated by the terminal pinacoid. They show an intense orange to yellow color and are disposed on a matrix of limonite partially covered by olive green mottramite. A good size specimen and very aesthetic.
Groups of brilliant hemimorphite crystals forming fan-shaped aggregates, transparent, colorless and very well defined lanceolated crystalline forms. They are accompanied by small rhombohedral calcite crystals and small mimetite globular aggregates with a yellow tone. On a limonite matrix.
In this specimen we can observe two generations of aurichalcite. A first generation as small rosettes formed by lanceolate greenish crystals and second with thiner crystals, needle-like, some of which are included in rhombohedral calcite crystals, with a light blue color. Stand in a very aesthetic way on the matrix of goethite. A very balanced sample.
A huge size specimen showing botryoidal aggregates of rosasite, with a velvet appearance and intense blue-green pastel tones. They are peppered with small but brilliant calcite crystals with a pseudooctahedron shape. On a limonite matrix.
Group of lenticular calcite crystals, very transparent and brilliant, with an uncommon shape for the species due to the flattened hexagonal shape. Disposed very aerial on the limonite matrix with hemimorphite.
A rich druse of cuprian adamite crystals which is completely covering the cavity in limonite. With stalactitic growths showing an intense blue-green color. They are peppered by small white globular aggregates of smithsonite, along with areas of rosasite green. Accompanied by globular aggregates of conichalcite and very defined cuprian adamite crystals. An interesting specimen with good size.
A huge size cuprian adamite specimen, formed by two druses of very brilliant small crystals with an intense brilliance and characteristic color, with stalactitic growths. On the back size of the specimen there are some isolated and more developed crystals of this arsenate. Really good for diplay.
Groups of fan-shaped adamite crystals with good color, more intense at the terminal faces, from light yellow to yellowish green. Good brilliance and perfect disposition on the matrix.
A great and aesthetic wulfenite specimen from well-known Ojuel mine. Two groups of wulfenite crystals with parallel growth, one of them with prismatic form and intense orange color and brilliance. Attracts our attention for its complex terminal acute faces and it is aesthetically disposed and contrasts with the limonite matrix. They are accompanied by a group of green globular aggregates of mimetite. Both minerals are fluorescent. To be displayed.
This specimen shows a rich group of lanceolated austinite crystals with an excellent transparence and brilliance and a slight greenish tone. They contrast on the goethite matrix layered by several sharp adamite crystals, defined, brilliant and with a yellow to orange color. A sample with aesthetic and mineralogical interest for the quality of the austinite and its paragenesis.
This speciemn shows various aggregates formed by several austinite lanceolate crystals. Good transparence, excellent brilliance and slight greenish tone. On starkly contrasting matrix with goethite-hematite. This specimen has a good quality for the species. I recommend the buyer to use a magnifying lens to enjoy the small crystals that are disposed on the matrix. Enjoy it!
This nice speciemn shows various globular aggregates formed by several austinite lanceolate crystals in radial growth. Good transparence, excellent brilliance and almost colorless, they are real gems. On starkly contrasting matrix with goethite-hematite and small crystals of adamite. This specimen has a superb quality for the species. I recommend the buyer to use a magnifying lens to enjoy the small crystals that are disposed on the matrix. Good choice.
A very rich group of cuprian adamite pseudooctahedral crystals. Well defined faces and edges, excellent brilliance and a green color with bluish tones. Disposed covering a vug on the limonite matrix. Just this specimen was published in mindat and labelled as cuprian austinite, but further analysis indicate that they were cuprian adamite. An excellent specimen.
A very rich botryoidal growths of mottramite, with an excellent dark green color and velvety. These mottramite specimens were recently found in the mina Ojuela and for their quality could be considered a good representative for the species and, of course, the best specimens from this mine. A huge size specimen for the more selected display.
A very rich specimen of cuprian adamite, formed by several very sharp pseudooctaedral crystals, with an excellent brilliance and transparence. Color is different than usual for the species and mine, with a green to bluish tones. Adamite crystals are partially covering a vug in the goethite matrix. A display huge size specimen and a very good aesthetics. From this classic classic Mexican mine.
An excellent sample of a calcite showing a marked butterfly twin. Two twinned crystals in the same sample. Good transparence and very aerial disposed. This calcite comes from the deposits of optical calcite of José María Patoni. These mining works are famous worldwide for the purity, transparence and crystallographic complexity of its calcite crystals. Nice miniature.
Group of very sharp adamite crystals showing an intense brilliance and color between yellow to colorless. Different orders prisms are present, isome of the end faces can remind the octahedron. Thus, in the specimen we can see very elongated crystals, some other flattened and almost equidimensional. Transparence and luster are really good. Crystals are disposed very aerial on a goethite matrix. This sample belongs to a German collection.
This elongated calcite crystal comes from the deposits of optical calcite of José María Patoni. These mining works are famous worldwide for the purity, transparence and crystallographic complexity of its calcite crystals. These specimens were formed by mineral rich hydrothermal fluids flowing through rhyolitic pyroclastic materials, where they found faults and fissures, a perfect place to grow.
This specimen shows faces of the prism, both scalenohedrons and rhombohedrons (positive and negative), echeloned faces and a small apical pinacoid. Excellent transparence and brilliance. A worlwide classic for calcite and crystallography.
