Very aesthetic group of deep green epidote fan-shaped aggregates on matrix. Epidotes have a good luster and intense green colour. There are some gemmy quartz crystals emerging from the epidote. The original label we will send to the buyer indicates that those crystals are clinozoisite, but recent studies show that all the analyzed specimens are epidote (Calvo, M., Subías, I. (2017): Epidote (not clinozoisite) and andradite garnet from Los Serranos quarry, Cabezo Negro, Albatera, Alicante. Mineral Up, 4:44-47).

Celestine crystals from this locality are very appreciated by the collectors of Spanish minerals for their color, brilliance and definition of faces. This specimen shows several celestine crystals of good size, acute, with well defined faces, transparent to translucent and with a visible sky blue color. They are disposed on a matrix with calcite crystals. Nowadays it is not easy to find crystals with this size and quality from this locality.

Classic locality

This specimen shows a very sharp celestine crystal of good size, "lanceolated", with several defined rhombohedron faces, translucent and with a visible sky blue color. It is disposed on a matrix with calcite scalenohedral crystals. Very rich andradite (var. melanite) specimen, with an intense color, showing interpentrated crystals and isolated ones with a good size. From a classic Spanish locality.

Group of datolite crystals, very rich in faces, translucent-white and well defined. They are on a matrix with calcite and quartz, with some epidote-clinozoisite. A piece of a well-known Spanish quarry from where nowadays is very difficult obtain samples because they are not making new blastings.
