Very aesthetic specimen formed by numerous bournonite crystals, excellent luster, sharps and cyclically twinned. They are accompanied by cube octahedral galena crystals with rounded faces and edges and brilliant pyrite. Nice miniature.
In a matrix formed by octahedral pyrite crystals, very bright and faceted, various groups of sphalerite crystals are disposed on which the bournonite cyclic twins stand out. They are accompanied by small quartz crystals and hydrozincite globules. A very aesthetic piece.
Group of rhodochrosite crystals with a uniform pink color, with well-defined rhombohedron echeloned and scalenohedron forms. Good gemmy transparence. They are accompanied by other smaller rhodo crystals. On a solid matrix with quartz crystals with inclusions and manganese oxides.
Group of rhodochrosite crystals that stand out for their color, with well-defined scalenohedron shapes and good transparence. Accompanied by other smaller rhodo crystals. On a matrix with manganese oxides, hyaline quartz crystals and some colorless fluorite.

We have labeled this specimen as fluorite, because it highlights a group of crystals of this species, transparent to translucent, with complex facets of the dodecahedron, with faces with polysynthetic growths. They are disposed in a vug of bright rhodo crystals and intense pink. A second generation of rhodo forms globules of honey tone. A very curious and aesthetic Mina Uchucchacuapiece.
Group of bournonite prismatic crystals, with striated faces by the cyclic twin; interesting acute terminal faces, good brilliance and complete crystals. They are accompanied by bright aggregates of acicular boulangerite and sharp pyrite crystals. They are accompanied by lenticular crystals of possible magnesite or dolomite. A sample purchased by Sr. Manchion from Dr. Joan Viñals, in the 80s. A different piece from this Peruvian locality.
Very large group of rhodochrosite crystals, very bright, transparent and richly faceted. They show interpenetrated figures of the rhombohedron and the escalenohedron. The pink color is very uniform and intense. They are disposed forming aggregates or as isolated individuals, on a matrix with kutnohorite. A old piece belonging of the first specimens those arrived from these Peruvian mines.
Amazing specimen of clinoatacmite that shows several groups of pseudohexagonal crystals of really good size. With an intense and deep green color, brilliant and with some transparence, some twinned. They are disposed as isolated groups that stand out on a matrix of hyaline quartz crystals, with blue-green tones due to the chrysocolla and malachite they're are covering. An great an exceptional piece.
Aesthetic specimen that shows several clinoatacamite crystals, with a pseudorhombohedral shape, with an intense green color, brilliance and transparence, some twinned. They are disposed as isolated individuals those stand on a matrix of brilliant quartz crystals, with blue tones due to the chrysocolla and green due to the malachite. A remarkable piece from this Peruvian mine (enjoy pictures).
Very rich specimen formed by several tetrahedrite crystals, sharp, brilliant, with golden facets due to chalcopyrite. They show forms of the tetrahedron and the cube, together with more complex ones. They are disposed very aesthetically on a matrix covered with quartz crystals and peppered by globular orange siderite. A very esthetic specimen, for lovers of crystallography and sulfides. Analysis show a silver content.
A really curious specimen that shows a matrix with well developed crystals of pyrite, partially covered by galena, very bright and with extremely rounded forms, remarkable shape! It is also accompanied by complex crystals of sphalerite. A very aesthetic, unusual and interesting sample.
Very visible quartz Japan twin law (84°33'), formed by two well developed crystals. Transparence, perfection and with very interesting reddish acicular inclusions of indeterminate species (hübnerite?). From a classic locality very aesthetic piece.
Very rich group of sharp clinoatacamite crystals, many of them isolated, very well defined faces and edges, interpenetrated, with pseudohexagonal and octahedral forms. Very brilliant and with some transparence. They are disposed on a matrix formed by brilliant quartz covering aggregates of deep green malachite crystals and chrysocolla. Peppered with scalenohedral crystals of calcite. A very aesthetic and interesting specimen of good size. I like Peruvian clinotacamite...
Very curious specimen formed by a sharp rossette formed by clinoatacamite crystals, with an intense green color, with pseudohexagonal forms. They are disposed on a brilliant matrix covered by quartz crystals and chrysocolla.
Epidote crystal of a really good size (also for this locality), very sharp and with parallel growths, developed prism, striated. Near doubly terminated. The terminal faces are well defined by various pinacoids. The brightness is excellent and the intense green color can be observed when the light strikes the crystals. Of a little represented locality in the collections.
A floating specimen, all brilliance. It is a rich group of crystals with dominant cube and dodecahedron faces. One of them stands out for its size and the large number of cube, dodecahedron, octahedron, pyritohedron faces. As we said, nice luster and characteristic golden color. It presents small damage without affecting the quality of the sample. An excellent specimen from this Peruvian mine.
A huge size rhodochrosite crystal with an intense red color and well defined scalenohedral forms. Good color and transparence. On a solid rocky matrix with hyaline quartz and cubic fluorite crystals (fluorescent). A good specimen hard to find...
A huge size specimen formed by a rich groups of brilliant and sharp atacamite crystals, showing elongated prisms, intense green color and with transparence. In thsi specimen we have not found clinoatacamite (oops) but under loupe we can enjoy very well faceted crystals, really amazing. Accompanied by scalenohedral calcite transparent crystals and with brilliant quartz that is covering the blue chrysocolla and malachite. A really aesthetic display specimen.
These specimens of fluorite are very unusual in the market. Groups of cubic fluorite crystals truncated by octahedron faces, defined, bright and transparent to translucent. There is an aesthetic color zoning, between colorless to slightly greenish with predominant violet tones on the cube faces, a real curiosity. It is accompanied, to add interest if possible, by globular foliaceous aggregates of bright pink cookeite, a member of the chlorite group. Both minerals are very fluorescent under UV-LW light. A good sized display specimen.
Specimens of azurite from the Peruvian mines are very rare and less with the quality of this we propose. There are various cavities in a matrix of goethite, which are covered by malachite botrioids, formed by very thin green needles. Over them several azurite rosette aggregates, isolated crystals also present, with an exceptional brightness and color. The specimen is really aesthetic and from a locality not seen in collections.
Hutchinsonite is one of the few thallium-containing minerals producing good sized crystals. This specimen shows numerous groups of prismatic crystals of this rare sulphosalt, some are doubly terminated, sheaves or isolated, interpenetrated... With an exceptional luster and reddish reflections. They are disposed on a pyrite matrix with rosettes of small quartz crystals. An exceptional specimen.

A aesthetic good size cluster specimen of pyrite crystals really brilliant, defined faces and edges and with a spectacular luminosity. With some quartz. The picture can not collect all the brightness of the specimen. From a recent find (2016) in this classic Peruvian mine.
In this specimen we can enjoy brilliant aggregates of brown transparent römerite crystals, a very rare iron sulphate. They are accompanied by coquimbite showing an intense violet color under fluorescent light or LED type. They're accompanied by numerous yellow metavoltine/copiapite crystals, along with minor fibrous halotrichite. Note that under the magnifying glass we can navigate in a world of brilliant crystals, some of which of krausite species (yellowish to grey transparent). We left this identification pleasure to the collector. Regarding its environmental stability, this sample has been stored during more than six years without further alteration.
