These doubly quartz crystals with amethyst hour glass color zoning never are always amazing. In this specimen we see this internal color zoning and delicate and thin brown filamentous inclusions. Defined edges and faces, of course. To increase its interest, one could see some faces of the prism and rhombohedra with opalescent dull luster, while other rhombohedral faces are completely transparent and allow us to see clearly the geometric color zoning inside the crystal. On the back shows usual for these specimens recrystallized contact. A specimen to enjoy crystallography and aesthetics.
