RM2883 Almandine
Some almandine garnet crystals exposed in the center of a quartz nodule from an unusual alluvial deposit. The garnet crystals are nicely exposed showing almost half the largest crystal.
Size: 4.7 x 4 x 2.9 cm.
Main crystal: 2.8 cm.
Found in ±1985.
