A very good sized piece of arsenatian vanadinite. Numerous crystals of very good size, interpenetrated, with good luster. A Moroccan classic not easy to find with this size, from the Cendón collection (Cerdanyola del Vallès).
Excellent specimen formed by a large group of prismatic cerussite crystals completely covered by smithsonite crystals, rhombohedral and very bright. It is a very different piece from what can be seen in this classic Moroccan locality. A display specimen.
These hematite crystals from a quarry near Nador are already a classic of Moroccan mineralogy. This specimen is made up of various crystals in parallel growth, with exceptional brilliance, and showing the faces of different crystals. Its size and quality and metallic luster make them a definitive specimen from this locality. These hematites come from a small rhyolite quarry very near the community of Nador, on the road to Melilla.
Anglesite specimens from this classic Moroccan mine are quite difficult to find. In this piece we can see numerous lanceolated prismatic crystals of this lead sulphate, very brilliant, with well defined faces and edges, transparent and showing the natural yellow colour characteristic of this species and mine. They are disposed filling cavities in a galena matrix.
White elongated crystals of pearly luster in parallel growths implanted on groups of crystals of malachite with a silky luster and a very deep and uniform color. From a find ca. 2010 in Bou Beker where this association had not been found before.

Very aesthetic specimen formed by several aggregates of vanadinite crystals, labeled as arsenical endlichite. Very well defined hexagonal prisms, beige in color, peppered with tiny but brilliant and well defined crystals of descloizite-mottramite, with dark honey tones. The descloizite-mottramite forms globules but also partially covers vanadinite crystals, especially on the pinacoidal faces and forming "half moons", a curiosity. These specimens from this Moroccan mine are not common.
Exceptional and old specimen of cerussite from this classic Moroccan locality. It presents several divergent prismatic to tabular crystals of good size, twinned in a "V" shape. Translucent and with a smoky hue. Pure aesthetics, a very difficult specimen to get nowadays.
Group of cubic to prismatic fluorite crystals, translucent, with a color between violet to purple depending on the incident light. A good size specimen with a matrix on the back. From this classic Moroccan mine.
Group of cubic to prismatic fluorite crystals, with a semi-matte luster, transparent to translucent. They are arranged very aerially on a matrix of baryte crystals. From this classic Moroccan mines.
Group of fluorite crystals, very brillinat, with marked color zoning, more intense on the edges. The cube faces show highly aesthetic polysynthetic growths. They are disposed very aerially on a matrix with scalenohedral calcite crystals and small quartz druses. From this classic Moroccan locality.
Rich group of fluorite crystals that show us forms of the cube truncated by those of the octahedron. Very good transparence and with staggered growths on the edges. The violet color with zoning stands out in this specimen, intense on the faces of the cube and almost colorless when we observe those of the octahedron. A very interesting specimen. On a small matrix of dolomite.
Elongated cubic fluorite crystal of very good size, with tile growths on the faces. Between translucent to transparent and with a very uniform violet color. It is complete on both sides and is placed on a small matrix with quartz.
Brilliant aggregate of tabular azurite crystals with this intense and characteristic color. A very aesthetic specimen of this classic Moroccan town. It comes from the Joan Astor collection (Barcelona) who acquired it from Marçal Llòria, from "Lloid-Material de Ciencias Naturales", a well-known Barcelona mineral seller.
Very aesthetic aggregate of vanadinite crystals, labeled as arsenical. From this classic Moroccan town. From the Joan Astor collection, acquired at the 1979 EXPOMINER (Barcelona) mineral show.
Azurite crystal of intense color and brightness, disposed very aerially on a matrix with dolomite crystals and yellow-green concretions of beaverita-(Cu). This sample was acquired in 1989 by Joan Astor from Enrique Kucera, a well-known mineral dealer in Barcelona.
Group of tarnowizite crystals, a variety of aragonite with a certain lead content, very characteristic of this Moroccan locality. Bright and with well-defined crystals on a galena matrix. An old piece belonging to the Astor collection (Barcelona).
Hemispherical aggregate of smithsonite crystals, of good size, luster and with a very curious orange-brown color. On the label of the A. Trigo (Mataró) collection it indicates that he bought this specimen from a Moroccan dealer (1989) as "tornuisite", a term for which we have not found references, unless it was wrongly confused with "tarnowizite". Touissit specimens of globular smithsonite are known but rare.
Good-sized azurite crystal from this classic Moroccan mine. It shows very defined and bright faces and edges, with an intense blue color. It presents a small nick in the upper part but almost invisible. Good specimen indeed.
Some unusual specimens from the Oujda area, specifically from Touissit. These are aggregates of sphalerite crystals, some of them twinned, of an intense brown color, with reddish transparencies, good luster, which are dotted with small chalcopyrite and pyrite crystals, disposed on a dolomite matrix, with an aesthetic contrast. Just arrived (March 2020) after our trip through Moroccan lands.

A very aesthetic azurite specimen formed by several elongated prismatic crystals, forming a kind of sheaf. They are partially pseudomorphized by malachite. The blue color of the azurite is exceptional, with very good brilliance. A nice miniature from a classic Moroccan locality.
Aesthetic group of tabular crystals of baryte, with a delicate bluish color, brilliant and transparent. With a good size, they stand out on a matrix of goethite. A extinc classic.
Aesthetic and gemmy anglesite specimen that shows a group of crystals with a razor-sharp chisel terminations, striated faces, characteristic for the species, very sharp and with good transparence and uniform yellow color.
This specimen date to the late 1970s and were found in the well known Moroccan mining area of Touissit. They are considered the world's finest anglesite specimens. Here we offer this "old" specimen from glorious past times.
