Ojuela mine, Mapimí, Municipio de Mapimí, Durango, México

A very rich group of cuprian adamite pseudooctahedral crystals. Well defined faces and edges, excellent brilliance and a green color with bluish tones. Disposed covering a vug on the limonite matrix. Just this specimen was published in mindat and labelled as cuprian austinite, but further analysis indicate that they were cuprian adamite. An excellent specimen.

Size: 8,5 x 4,7 x 3,5 cm.
Main crystal: 2 x 2 mm.
Found in 2008.
