Very good-sized specimen of rhombohedral dolomite crystals, very well defined and bright. Transparent to translucent, with greyish tones. Interpenetrated crystals. With an interesting and rare label from the former Sabadell mineral dealer "Blenda".
Rhombohedral dolomite crystal from this classic Navarra locality. It is disposed very aerial on a dolomite matrix. Three of the faces of the rhombohedron are dotted with small globules of goethite. A very aesthetic miniature.
Group of twinned dolomite crystals of good size, peppered by numerous bright, golden cubic pyrite crystals that give the specimen a special touch. They are not common in this classic Spanish mine. The piece belongs from the collection of Andrés Jiménez Shelly (Madrid) and is accompanied by an handwritten label.
Rich specimen formed by numerous isolated fluellite crystals and forming groups, with a pink to violet color, an unusual fact since fluellite is usually colorless. It is accompanied by whitish to slightly greenish growths of metavariscite. Under magnification we can observe globules of this last phosphate. These specimens are a classic of mining in Navarra and are currently only available through old collections.
Group of twinned rhombohedral dolomite crystals with very well defined faces and edges. They show striated faces, transparence and brilliance. With gray inclusions arranged randomly, not uniform. A classic of Spanish mineralogy.
This piece is formed by several interpenetrated lenticular yellowish crystals of magnesite, accompanied by dolomite rhombohedrons on matrix. We especially note the rare richness of magnesite crystals in the sample. Good sized and from a classic Spanish locality.
Very curious specimen of dolomite from this classic Navarrese locality, which shows a rich group of rhombohedral crystals, some with small negative rhombohedron faces and very sharp edges. They are partially coated with manganese oxides that give them a black and dull surface. This kind of specimens are very unusual in collections.
Aesthetic and good sized minyulite specimen that shows a rich group of prismatic acicular crystals. Minyulite is a rare aluminum and potassium fluorophosphate, which in this quarry has had a remarkable deposit. Few specimens were collected between the years 1999 and 2000. To increase quality, it is accompanied in the matrix by white crandallite crystals pseudom. after fluellite, transparent and defined crystals of fluellite and stalactitic globular aggregates of metavariscite with a greenish tone. These specimens are impossible to obtain today.
This is one of the last fluellite specimens obtained from the fissure appeared in March 2000, where beautiful specimens of this rare phosphate were collected. This specimen was in the discoverer's collection for years. IVery well defined crystals, showing dipyramidal forms truncated by pinacoid, colorless to slightly violet, on a brilliant iridiscent matrix. A very distinctive specimen of the usual for this Navarrese mine, where it is impossible to get specimens. An opportunity to get a historical and very displayable specimen.
Group of rhombohedral crystals of dolomite, some of them twinned, with very defined faces and edges. They show striated faces, transparency and brilliance. With curious grayish inclusions disposed ramdomly in the crystal core. A classic specimen for the Spanish mineralogy.
