RM1445   Kasolite with wulfenite and torbernite

The specimens of uranium species from Katanga are increasingly difficult to find on the market, and many of them come from former collections. This specimen comes from one of these old collections. It shows a rich group of kasolite crystals, with very defined lanceolate forms and intense yellow color. They stand out for their perfection and brilliance. They are accompanied by tetragonal prismatic crystals of wulfenite with an intense orange color, dipyramidal truncated by basal pinacoid, also very brilliant and translucent to transparent, one doubly terminated. To give a touch of color, more if possible, several crystals of torbernite with an intense green color, transparent and brilliant. A quality specimen that will satisfy the systematic and aesthetic collector.
